Wait, you mean it’s… Free?! Paris Free WiFi
The intoxicating smell of the purple rose bushes behind everyone’s favorite gothic cathedral is where I often take my tiny boyfriend Louis during our Promenade Fridays. But tonight’s a bit different, I’m out alone sitting on a park bench taking in the fresh smells and bright colors of the flowers, listening to the church bells and soaking in the last few rays of sunshine as the sun sets. Oh and did I mention I’m using free WiFi?
The Parisian government sure got this one right, I love free stuff. Just look for one these signs in the parks around Paris, login to “orange” and fill in your name for a an e-voucher for 2 hours of free WiFi. It’s no super premium deluxe connection, but I just upladed 28 pictures to facebook, and things seemed to work just fine.
Now I haven’t used my two hours yet, but I’ll investigate further if pseudonyms like “Kat McKatKat” or “Leonard the Great” might gain access to more 2 hour vouchers, otherwise maybe it’s time to close up the laptop and go stare at the Seine or something.
Edit: so I bet you could enter your name 1000 times and your time will never run out. Fan-freakin-tastic.
